How Midin.app replaced paper name cards for 100+ businesses.
Midin.app is an NFC digital business card platform built in Kuching. One tap on a phone opens a contact profile the owner can update any time. Used by 100+ businesses, including users in Thailand.

The problem
What wasn’t working.
Printed name cards run out, go out of date when a phone number or title changes, and end up in a drawer. Companies with many staff or branches reprint every year and still struggle to keep logos, titles and details consistent.
Business owners also told us they wanted to show more than a phone number: their services, photos, videos and a quick way to save the contact.
What we built
Midin.app, built in Kuching.
Midin.app pairs an NFC card with a digital business card. Tap the card on a phone and the profile opens, with no app to install and no retyping a number across the table. One tap saves the contact, calls, emails or opens LinkedIn and the website.
Cards come in standard finishes (Midnight, Cobalt and Light) or custom-printed with a company’s own brand.
For companies, one account manages every employee profile across branches, keeping branding consistent. Engagement data shows which profiles were opened and which visitors left their details, so follow-up starts from a real introduction. Change a role or number once and the next tap already shares it.
Results
What changed.
100+ businesses use Midin.app, from clinics and agents to corporate teams, with users as far as Thailand.
No more reprints: details change online, so the same card keeps working.
Paperless and consistent: companies cut printing costs and support ESG goals while every card stays on brand.
“I do not have to carry a large stack of printed name cards to any social events, nor do I have to spend recurring money annually to print them.”Keith Chew, Google review
