How TOMS keeps Malaysian law firms organised and e-invoice ready.

The problem

What wasn’t working.

Many smaller law firms still run on folders, spreadsheets and a general accounting package that knows nothing about matters or files. Finding the latest version of a document, checking what has been billed on a case, or seeing who is handling what takes far longer than it should.

Then LHDN e-invoicing arrived. Firms needed invoices in the right format without retyping data into yet another system.

What we built

TOMS, built in Kuching.

TOMS is practice management designed around how Malaysian firms actually work. Each case has its file, client, documents and billing in one place, with access controlled by role so partners, lawyers and staff see what they should.

DocuMerge fills standard letters and agreements from client and file data, and DocuFill completes PDF forms automatically, so nothing is typed twice. Invoices, receipts and payment vouchers link together for a full financial audit trail, and invoices are submitted to MyInvois under LHDN e-Invois 1.1, with TIN validation and a submission dashboard.

Kanban task boards group work by matter, a firm knowledge base holds SOPs, and wills can be registered and tracked. Role permissions, IP controls and activity logs protect client data. It runs in the browser, and we support it from Kuching.
